Who We Are

 Clark Renovation's history actually began in 1970 when Ron Clark of Bethel Park became a full partner in a local remodeling firm, employing one full time and one part time carpenter.  With Ron's natural carpentry skills (which he inherited from his grandfather), the business prospered.  Sales records were set and the business grew to 18 employees.  In 1991 that joint venture dissolved to enable Ron and his expanding family to form Clark Renovations Inc.

Ron has been listed nearly every year in "Qualified Remodeler" magazine as one of the top 550 professional remodelers nationwide.   In 1995 he was named "Small Businessman of the Year" by the Bethel Park Chamber of Commerce.  In the 1990's, Ron & Sue (Ron's wife) participated on Pella Corporation's National Advisory Board, developed as a liaison between the window manufacturer and residential remodelers.

 May 2000's issue of "Remodeling Magazine" recognized Clark Renovations as one of the "Top 50" remodelers in the US.  More recently, Clark was awarded a very prestigious "National Chrysalis Award" for Best Bath.  In 2010, we celebrated our 40th year of renovating the South Hills of Pittsburgh.

Since joining the original firm in 1973 as a carpenter, Chris Clark (Ron's brother) has worn many hats – carpenter, crew leader, foreman, and now sales manager & CAD expert.  Sue Clark continues in her role as office manager, but has pared back to three days per week to enjoy life more fully.  She is the author of numerous remodeling publications that can be seen in many of the area's local magazines.  Son, Steve, returned in 2010 after a 19 year hiatus to take over as general manager.  Brian Clark (Chris' son) has moved into the office as the production / purchasing manager.  Rounding out the family is grandson Jesse Virgin who plays an integral role in our team of skilled craftsmen.
