Don't put off those last minute remodeling jobs because before you know it, winder will be here. If you need new windows, or plan to remodel your kitchen before the holiday season, pay a visit to Clark Construction, located at 3180 Industrial Blvd. in Bethel Park.
In business for more than 25 years, owners Ron and Sue Clark will be happy to sit down and show you photos of work they have done for their many satisfied customers.
"It's very rewarding to transform someone's ideas into unique renovations that reflect their personality", says Sue. "Our showroom is well equipped with the latest designs, colors and products. We invite you to stop in and see what we have to offer."
Sue said that Clark Construction was the first Pella window contractor in the Pittsburgh area. They also feature other quality products such as Kohler, Andersen, Traco, Corian, Alcoa, Formica, Wilsonart and Nutone. In addition, Clark is authorized to fabricate Corian counter tops in their onsite warehouse. "Unlike laminates, imperfections can be sanded out of Corian products, so many people like to use them for that reason."
"We also supply Kohler products to the general public at a discount for anyone who wants to do the remodeling themselves," Sue continued. "Or we have a professional sales staff ready to turn your ideas into a dream come true We'll work with you in any capacity."
According to Sue, many of her company's business clientele are repeat customers. "We might have done some windows for them, and they were satisfied with our work," she said. "So when the time comes to put on an addition to their home, they'll call us again. We follow up our jobs with a survey mailed to the customer's home. We ask for an evaluation because our customers are important to us. Clark Construction takes pride in the fact that we only serve the South Hills area."
Last year Clark Construction won the "Build Your Own Landmark" award for remodeling a Mt. Lebanon house. (Residents of the community are encouraged to enter their house in a local remodeling contest.) Some of the work, which took Clark about six months to complete, consisted of tearing a porch down, remodeling and building a two-story room, enlarging and completely remodeling the kitchen, adding new windows throughout the house, putting on a new entry door with a roof over the landing, and building a new two-level deck in the back.
"Most people look at remodeling as an inconvience, but the homeowner said she was sad to see our construction workers go," said Sue. "They became good friends over the six-month period."
Remodeling jobs are not the only work Clark has done. Other jobs include: building new homes, commercial buildings, barns, and, for the past several years during the Halloween season, building a 191 foot haunted spaceship for the Bethel Park Haunted Yard.
Clark Construction is a member fo the National Kitchen and Bath Association and the Better Business Bureau. Their showroom hours are Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm and Wednesday evenings until 8:30 pm. Their phone number is 833-7222.
